FACTORS INFLUENCING GRADUATE STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION OF ONLINE AND DISTANCE LEARNING IN NEPAL

This study explored the perception of online and distance learning (ODL) experienced by postgraduate students in Nepal during COVID-19 pandemic 2020. An survey on Graduate Student Perception ODL (GSPODL) with a five-point Likert-scale was designed administered to 71 (57 male 14 female) science education public higher institution spring A Principal Component Analysis rotation Varimax Kaiser Normalization employed Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM SPSS 26) construct six major components students’ course delivery participation. These were- Quality, Opportunity, Relevance, Development, Support, Challenges. Mann-Whitney U Test or Kruskal-Wallis at 0.05 level significance showed that participants’ views about Support were significantly different across their place Residence (rural urban residences). Likewise, there significant difference Relevancy respect Device Use. There no variables Gender, Ethnicity, School Type, Use all other criteria. results demonstrated hometown location made big classes’ Quality.
